Holovate
Privacy policy
Most of your progress never leaves your browser. Here is exactly what is stored, where, and how to have it removed.
Last updated: 17 July 2026
This policy explains what holovate.space actually stores and why. The short version: the site is designed to work with as little personal data as possible, and most of your progress never leaves your browser.
What stays in your browser
- World progress — your position, discovered parcels, local HVC preview balance, selected services, and session name are stored in your browser's
localStorageunder the keyholovate-space-state-v2. - This data never leaves your device unless you connect a wallet or create a named session while the ledger is online.
- You can erase it at any time with the Reset Wallet button or by clearing site data in your browser.
What the ledger stores
If you connect a wallet (or use a generated demo wallet) while the coin service is online, the ledger records:
- your public wallet address (never private keys or seed phrases — we have no way to receive them);
- the display name and optional email you choose to provide;
- your HVC balance, transactions, owned parcels, and any DApp Studio proposals you create.
Transactions are hash-chained for integrity, so individual entries cannot be silently edited; if you want your name or email removed from wallet records, contact us and we will blank the profile fields.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security monitoring and operations. Logs are used for abuse prevention and debugging, not for advertising.
What we do not do
- No advertising trackers and no third-party analytics scripts run on this site.
- No data is sold or shared with advertisers.
- No cookies are set by the Holovate application itself.
- We never ask for private keys, seed phrases, passwords to other services, or payment card details.
Third-party wallets
If you connect a browser wallet extension, that extension is governed by its own privacy policy. Holovate only receives the public address the wallet chooses to share.
